I am the Founder & CEO of ZeroX Intelligence, a Rwandan–Canadian AI company building practical, scalable solutions for healthcare, agriculture, and education across Africa.
I lead Medikal Africa, an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform focused on combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and strengthening digital health systems across African healthcare environments.
Medikal Africa is a NVIDIA Inception Startup, selected among millions of AI companies worldwide for building production-grade healthcare AI infrastructure using accelerated and edge computing.
My work is recognized by the NVIDIA and Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), where I serve as a Youth Digital Health Champion under the Youth in Digital Health Network. Through ZeroX, I also lead healthcare infrastructure initiatives, including the deployment of autonomous UV-C disinfection robots in partnership with RoboLabs.
My focus is on applying AI responsibly to support clinicians, inform policy, and improve health outcomes at scale across the continent.
To harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence to solve Africa's most critical challenges in healthcare, agriculture, and education, making advanced technology accessible to all communities regardless of resources or location.
Built by ZeroX Intelligence in partnership with AMR Initiative Rwanda, Medikal Africa is an AI-driven clinical intelligence and health systems platform focused on tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across African healthcare systems.
The platform is designed as core infrastructure for hospitals and public health institutions, integrating clinical data, laboratory and genomic signals, and population-level surveillance to reduce diagnostic delays, strengthen clinical decision-making, and improve system-level visibility in resource-constrained environments.
Medikal Africa has been recognized by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) for its contribution to strengthening digital health systems and advancing AMR prevention and response efforts across the continent.
Founded in 2020, ZeroX Intelligence is a Rwandan–Canadian Cognitive Computing and Innovation Lab led by me as Founder & CEO, focused on developing intelligent systems for healthcare, agriculture, and education across Africa.
Through advanced artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous technologies, the company designs scalable solutions that improve medical access and disease prevention, enable precision and sustainable agriculture, and expand access to intelligent learning platforms.
ZeroX Intelligence builds applied, real-world systems such as Medikal Africa and infrastructure-focused innovations, working with regional and international partners to deliver measurable impact across the continent.
I initiated and led this strategic partnership between ZeroX Intelligence and RoboLabs Elektronik Otomasyon to deploy autonomous cBot UV-C disinfection robots to strengthen infection prevention across African healthcare facilities.
The cBot robot combines autonomous navigation with UV-C sterilization to eliminate up to 99.99% of harmful microorganisms, reducing hospital-acquired infections while improving operational efficiency and healthcare worker safety.
Pilot deployments are launching in Rwanda, serving as a proof-of-concept for scalable adoption across the continent and complementing Medikal Africa's AI-driven AMR surveillance and clinical decision-support systems.
